Would I recommend SEO as the main marketing funnel for a B2B company in the US market?
No, I don’t recommend it as the main or the only channel to use for lead generation.
Why?
I’d like to ask a question: Can you control the SEO results and the number of leads you get each month? – Not really:)
When you have a strict marketing and growth plan, with a planned XXXX amount of leads you need to get monthly, you better run Ad funnels.
Would I recommend SEO as a strategic marketing investment? Yes, 100%. With confidence.
Why?
You definitely can control and manage all the actions you do with your organic SEO expert team. And when you do it right, you get a stable long-lasting result: more leads, lower CPL, better CR, and more profit in the end.
PS: there is a tricky thing about SEO. You can’t stop doing it if you want good results:)
The same as doing your morning sports to stay fit.
